All churches across the Alberta Conference are reminded that Safety Sabbath will take place on May 23, 2026. This annual emphasis highlights the importance of maintaining safe and prepared church environments for our members, guests, and communities.
Church boards are encouraged to ensure that a Safety Officer has been elected and is actively serving in this role. Having a designated Safety Officer helps each congregation strengthen its preparedness and uphold best practices for safety within the church.
