Pentecost 2025 in Sylvan Lake took the shape of a few different activities with the goal of ministering to the new attendees in our congregation and our community at large. Before we hosted our evangelistic series, we conducted two depression and anxiety workshops, a back-to-school yard sale by kids for kids, and a week of prayer. During this time, we have conducted several Bible studies and have baptized eight individuals so far. At the time of writing, we are preparing a lady and her granddaughter for baptism on November 22, 2025. As a result of their Bible studies and the influence in their home, one of her daughters and her boyfriend have started receiving Bible studies. God is moving in a mighty way in Sylvan Lake and we are truly privileged to be part of what He is doing.
