Greetings! We are very excited to announce that we have re-established our Adventurer Club at the Red Deer Seventh-day Adventist Church. With the leadership of our Volunteer Director, Don Fajardo and the support of our local church leaders led by Pastor Moises Ruiz, the Church Board members and the whole congregation, we want to introduce to you the Friendly Falcons Adventurer Club.
As a club, we were able to participate in the Global Youth Day Community outreach program that happened on March 15, 2025. We had the chance to visit the Blackfalds, AB Fire Station and shared with their team little bags with treats and the cards crafted by the Adventurers. The kids were happy to be a part of the outreach and learn what serving ministry could be like. More of the blessings came from the Fire Station team being so accommodating, they did the full tour that got both kids and adults excited, provided a lot of education and shared their experiences as volunteer community service providers. It was a blessed experience to connect with them and learn more ways of how we can be of service to others.
Galatians 5:13 says, “For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another”.
