Please join us in welcoming Melanie Dussaye to her new role at the Alberta Conference as Associate Treasurer, effective June 1, 2026. She has already done excellent work as Grant Writer/Coordinator and Internal Auditor for the conference, a role she has held since 2024.
Prior to this, Melanie served as a Senior Accountant at ADRA Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, and over the past 20 years, has amassed a wealth of experience in finance and accounting across a variety of sectors and continents. As such, Melanie brings breadth and depth to our Treasury team.
Born and raised in South Africa, Melanie and her husband Ray Fankhauser, have called Canada home for the past five years. Melanie’s favourite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5,6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
