ESFIL DOES “BISITA IGLESIA”

Last February 7th, 2026, the ESFIL CHURCH did their second “Bisita Iglesia” at Camrose Adventist Church. Bisita Iglesia, which literally means “Church Visitation” is a ministry embraced by ESFIL CHURCH where the whole congregation visits a sister Seventh-day Adventist Church to fellowship and worship with them on a particular sabbath. ESFIL’s first Bisita Iglesia was held at Parkland Adventist Church in Spruce Grove last November 29th, 2025. Pr. Aniceto “Seth” Braza III preached on both occasions. Prior to such visit, ESFIL collaborates with the host church in planning and leading in the sabbath program. 

This approach in ministry fosters camaraderie among congregations and it infuses life, excitement, and passion not only to the host church, but also to the visiting church. During the Bisita Iglesia, exchange of ideas happen as both congregations learn from one another about their unique approaches to ministry in their respective churches. No one leaves the Bisita Iglesia experience empty-handed as everybody gains joyfully from this christian fellowship and worship. The joy and glee experienced by the members of both churches were very palpable. 

The responses from the host congregations have been very favorable and they express their strong desire not only to return the favor to ESFIL, but also for ESFIL Church to visit them again. Due to the very positive outcomes of such visits, ESFIL is impressed to continue this unique ministry to other neighboring churches here in Alberta.
